Graduation / Completion Requirements
Program Duration
Master’s Program: 2 years
This degree is conferred by a Special Graduate School.
(Applicants planning to pursue a doctoral degree should check the degree eligibility with their intended university in advance)
Credits Required for Program Completion
Thesis Option: 28 credits
Non-Thesis Option: 34 credits
Program Completion
A student is considered to have completed the program upon satisfying all of the following requirements:
Fulfillment of the program duration requirement
Completion of the required number of credits
Achievement of a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher
Completion of 100 hours of Korean language courses
Graduation
A student is eligible for graduation upon meeting all of the following requirements:
Fulfillment of the program duration requirement
Passing the Degree Thesis Submission Qualification Examination (Comprehensive Major Examination)
Meeting graduation requirements stipulated by the department regulations
Additional Notes
Students who obtain their degree while enrolled are exempt from paying the research registration fee. However, those who submit their thesis after program completion are required to pay the research registration fee.
(The fee is one-fifth of the regular tuition and must be paid during the regular registration period.)
