Secondary batteries have become a core technology in the 21st – century energy industry, playing a vital role in a wide range of applications such as electric vehicles (EVs), energy storage systems (ESS),and smart devices. In particular, innovations in high-capacity and high-safety battery technologies are essential to accelerating the transition toward an eco-friendly energy society.
The Graduate School of Next-Generation Secondary Batteries aims to cultivate global leaders in the battery industry by providing cutting-edge education and research that integrates materials, processes and system technologies. Based on strong university-industry collaboration, our programs focus on practical and innovative research in advanced battery materials, next-generation electrode manufacturing processes, and eco-friendly battery recycling technologies.
