Korean Language Conversation Course - Autumn 2026IMPORTANT: Mandatory Registration for 2026 New StudentsDear International Graduate Students, The International Office hereby announces the Korean Language Conversation Course for the Autumn Semester of 2026. All international graduate students admitted in 2026 who have not yet satisfied the Korean language graduation requirement MUST register for and complete this course. Students who have already satisfied the graduation requirement by passing TOPIK Level 1 do not need to take the course, provided that they submit the relevant TOPIK certificate before applying for their thesis defence. Korean Language Graduation Requirements All international students participating in English Track programmes must fulfil one of the following requirements before graduation: 1. Pass TOPIK Level 1 and submit the certificate before applying for the thesis defence; or 2. Complete 100 hours of the Korean Language Conversation Course offered by the International Office and submit the Certificate of Completion. Students who plan to apply for their thesis defence in March 2027 or later and have not yet fulfilled either requirement must register for the Korean Language Conversation Course. Important Notice for 2026 New StudentsIf you are a 2026 new international graduate student and have not passed TOPIK Level 1, you are required to register for this Korean Language Conversation Course. Please make sure to complete the application by 13:00 on 24 August 2026. Failure to register and complete the required Korean language qualification may affect your ability to meet the graduation requirements. Please carefully check the registration and payment deadlines and complete all required procedures within the designated period. |
